At Beaucare, we pride ourselves in connecting our community to the services that suit their individual needs and lifestyle. We have been dedicated to providing direct assistance to the Scenic Rim Community for over 35 years. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual who will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our clients in accordance with dietary requirements and food safety standards.

This is a casual position for approximately 3 days per month. The specific days and hours will depend on the needs of the service.

Duties will include:

  • To prepare meals, morning and afternoon teas for our Aged and Disability group program in accordance with client care plans, diet type and dietary requirements
  • To ensure that all food preparation and cooking activities comply with relevant food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Ensuring all records are maintained in accordance with Food Safety Guidelines and standards
  • To maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times and will include deep cleaning
  • Menu planning
  • Ordering and stock control

About you:

  • Trade certificate and/or relevant experience
  • Completed Food Safety Accreditation (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening check or ability to obtain
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
