Disability Support Workers

We are currently seeking energetic, dedicated people who want to make a difference by supporting people living with disability in the Scenic Rim to be active, inclusive participants in their community.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for day-to-day support, personal care and community access for clients. 

  • Personal support could include such tasks as shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, personal care, medication assistance, providing transport to and from medical appointments. 
  • Community access includes taking clients on outings to shops or excursions and community linkage.    

Some of our disability support roles work on 24/7 rotating rosters, so flexibility to work on days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers and weekend shifts is required.  It is important you are clear about your availability when completing the application form and understand that it will be beneficial to live locally to support clients throughout the Scenic Rim.

All candidates for Disability support positions must meet the following criteria:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or willing to study towards
  • Current Blue Card or ability to obtain
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Reliable and suitable vehicle to transport clients with comprehensive insurance and roadworthy
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID 19.
  • Have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencing
  • Three or more days availability across 7 Days
