We have been dedicated to providing direct assistance to the Scenic Rim Community for over 35 years. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual who will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our clients in accordance with dietary requirements and food safety standards.

This is a casual position for approximately 3 days per month. The specific days and hours will depend on the needs of the service.

Duties will include:

• To prepare meals, morning and afternoon teas for our Aged and Disability group program in accordance with client care plans, diet type and dietary requirements
• To ensure that all food preparation and cooking activities comply with relevant food safety regulations and guidelines
• Ensuring all records are maintained in accordance with Food Safety Guidelines and standards
• To maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times and will include deep cleaning
• Menu planning
• Ordering and stock control

About you:

• Trade certificate and/or relevant experience
• Completed Food Safety Accreditation (or willing to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening check or ability to obtain
• Valid Driver’s Licence
